Our webinar, The MRDC Reporting Toolkit (running time: 56 minutes), discussed the difficulty of getting figures from tables into reports as well as unveiling the first release of the new toolkit which is free to all our customers.
Webinar content
The webinar opened by looking at the practical problems suffered by researchers and those reporting research data. The main problems are:
- Waiting for fieldwork to complete so that reports can be finalised
- Handling tracking study reports
- Producing multiple reports
- Correcting errors
- Reducing errors
The majority of the webinar covered a practical demonstration of producing reports using figures generated in MRDCL or QPSMR as well as answering a good selection of questions that came from the audience.
What is the MRDC Reporting Toolkit?
The toolkit has two parts – templates that allow data analysts to get figures out of MRDCL and QPSMR easily and a designer in Excel that allows you to prepare reports in Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets or Google Slides and link results created in MRDCL or QPSMR.
This toolkit is the first stage in its development with more features coming in the near future to help our customers reduce the time they spend producing their reports.
